Safe & Secure - perfect for the 'escape artist' dog

Towpath Tails Dog Park is a secure dog park offering two play areas.

Our dog exercise Paddock and Coppice are both fenced with 6'ft high tensile fencing - for keeping the 'jumpers' safe; and low rabbit fencing for keeping the 'diggers' in.

We believe in providing spaces that are safe and secure, private and relaxing for you and your dog(s).

The smaller Paddock facility is about 3/4 of an acre and runs alongside the Kennet and Avon canal to the north and has the Christmas tree field to the south. There is secure 6ft deer fencing all around the paddock pegged to the ground, with additional rabbit fencing around the bottom which acts as extra security for very small puppies, and low level close knit screening. There is a secure entrance gate. Access is reached by a private driveway from the secure car park area alongside the Coppice area.

The larger Coppice is about 3 acres and encompasses the Christmas tree plantation. The Coppice has areas of open space, scattered trees and small woodland, enabling a great variety for dogs to have fun in. The Coppice runs alongside the Paddock and private gardens to the north and has the railway line to the south. The railway line is a great feature with trains typically passing about 2 per half hour at peak times and less at quieter times of the day and weekends. The Coppice also has secure 6ft deer fencing all around the field pegged to the ground, with additional rabbit fencing around the bottom which acts as extra security for very small puppies and 5ft close knit screening to one side for screening.

Both the Paddock and the Coppice have an individual parking space beyond a secure gate and are available for private individual hire as well as for dog training and events. The main car park is also available for parking.
